My encaustic works are done by self-made hot beeswax paints in my own technique. They have much fine details and are for closer viewing. All works are handpainted and handdrawn. I use hot pen/stylus, self-adjusted hot pen nibs, hotplate and hot air.
I enjoy the process of encaustic painting itself, colours, shapes, geometrical and ornamental elements and see my paintings as lyrical abstractions with harmony, joyful mood and aesthetic.
I paint and draw by hot beeswax and self-made hot beeswax paints also on eggshells.
I paint on shells of empty, disinfected chicken eggs by hot beeswax, self-made hot beeswax paints and by white Chinese ink. I use wax-resist technique and wax-bossing technique. The underground consists of self-made mix of wood-stain and fabric dyes and for the drawing with ink - of emulsion paints.
All eggshells are handpainted. The designs are my own creations. The surfaces are three times protected by varnish and sealer.
