My work consists mainly of bold, funky colours and striking combinations which encompass raw, deep texture and smooth shimmery surfaces. Experimenting has been the main reason why I enjoy making art. I'm constantly trying to find original designs and ways to apply the paint.

I can't really explain what influences me, everything from my dreams to the natural world, landscape vistas to microcosms of detail. It all seeps in, becomes fragmented and collects itself, forming shapes and colours upon my canvases.

I studied art at A-level and continued my studies in Manchester, completing a foundation course and a degree in fine Art, graduating in June 2003. It was then when I set up Myriapod On-line art gallery - www.myriapod.co.uk

Bular Vibrant and unusual, 'Bular' is an original piece of contemporary art. Achieved by using both acrylic and spray paint applied to a contemporary, deep, box canvas. 300 x 299 px (40 KB) 0 Comments		Zest Exciting, funky and bold. Dare to be different with 'Zest'. This three foot long deep, box canvas is not for modest walls! Capulet's Ball This colourful piece is achieved by using both acrylic and spray paint applied to canvas. This painting looks vibrant and eye catching with its beautiful blue dancing shapes.
