This is something new for me. I love other pieces I see with the geometric designs, just not sure if it is my cup of tea.

"Finding Forgiveness" is a beautiful depiction of truth. Lavish amounts of gold leafing make this piece hard to photograph. The detail and radiance are not done justice.

Uniquely created for the sophisticated design pallet. Custom tailored with comfort and casual living in mind. The vibrant colors, imagery and textures add interest and intrigue to any area of your home. The Old World Style is warm, inviting and says "Welcome Home". The possibilities are as endless as nature and captured only by one's imagination.
Each piece in the Medearis Collection is one of a kind, hand crafted, cataloged, and signed by the artist.

This is a set of 4 windows recently commissioned. All are reverse gilded/reverse painted and all include an icon representing the season she is in. Fall is my favorite. Each season has her head turning a different way so at the end of the four a full circle has been made.

I have been working on nudes lately with the reverse gilding and reverse painting. See our website for a detailed explanation of technique and history. This piece has an optical illusion effect we discovered upon seeing the fotos. One looks like the leg crosses in front of her on one side and the other foto looks like it crosses on the other side.

This was an experiment using two pieces of glass for a 3D effect. It work out well, but I don't think the photo shows it as well. It was interesting to do. With two diffent surfaces to use in the gilding and paint, it really did turn out like looking into a pond. Fun stuff to experiment.

"Lotus Blossom Geisha" is a lovely lady who certainly epitomizes beauty and grace. Using the traditional technique of Japanese reverse painting along with our trademark reverse gilding has created this modern interpretation of the light hearted, beautiful companion and entertainer of old. The details of her pearl white face, design of her silk kimono and golden, beaded hair comb are simply amazing.

A new technique was used in this reverse gilding/painting under glass. The tree bark has a crackle finish that is awesome. He is on a 20"x30" 1/8" thick glass.
