Mahesh kumar , Born in 1972 in his mid career is a very succesful upcoming artist based in India.The Artist is self taught. Though he has been painting from the age of three, it is only from the year 1996 that he is exhibiting his paintings for the public. In the initial stages of life just like any other artist, he has struggled to show his works in public due to lack of funds. His main source of strength & support is his wife who has encouraged him troughout.He has done several solo exhibitions. Articles about his works have been published leading newspapers / magazines. He has won a couple of painting competitions. Though he is a science graduate with additional diplomas in computer science, he has taken up art as his profession since he considers that art has given him everything in life (peace, happiness, love & money) & above all his love towards art. He is currently working towards exhibiting his art at international levels & he believes that he shall exhibit his art throughout the world to create an awareness & liking towards art among people.
His subject is mainly women since he visualizes women in everything he sees or dreams about. He says nothing is as rare, pure & timeless as a woman. He constantly keeps experimenting new ways & methods to create different & new forms of art. After thoroughly working with water/oil colors he has created his own style of painting which is unnamed as yet.This style is impressive & soothing to any common man .In this style the artist uses the shadow effect of colors to compose forms that are visible to the viewer only from a distance, where the eye blends the smudging of Colors to create such forms or objects to create an image in their minds. Nevertheless the artist says it is left to the public to love and encourage his works.The saying goes beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

J Rae Pariza
(
HeadWest
)
Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia, Connecticut, New York & Florida.
She has been painting since the age of five. A self taught painter, she supplemented her natural abilities by studying privately for 14 years from 1960 through 1974.
Upon graduating from Youngstown State University in 1977 she enlisted in the US Air Force.
Known as a realist in the medium oil, her subject matter, style and medium has varied throughout the years.
She currently exhibits in two Galleries; Houston, Texas and New Bern, North Carolina.
Her Art can also be found in private collections in Malta and Spain as well as Manchester, England. Extensive travel in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean is reflected in her paintings, photography, drawings, pastels and sketches.
J. Rae's love of the West is depicted in imagery, thus her aptly named home & Studio; HeadWest. The original Oils and Drawings take the viewer on a fantasy tour. J.Rae Pariza is a 'Contemporary Colorist' offering pure visionary, original & affordable Art directly from her home studio.
Each painting is full of contrasting elements and dramatic detail, a true VISUAL experience for the viewer.

This painting was originally a wall mural. When the walls were moved we saved this piece. I cut out a half inch peice of wood and screwed the drywall to it. I used plaster with fibers in it to create the raised effect on the edge. Not to mention to keep the drywall from crumbling there at the edges.
